Death is not a popular subject, I know, but it should be because death is inspirational. Hear me out.

We know we have a soul, right? So in death we still live on. Our bodies are just shells that give us the ability to do things in this life. Obviously it is preferable to have a healthy body, but it really doesn’t matter how you look as long as your body can do the job, right? So what if your black, white or otherwise. Who cares if that girl or guy is better looking than you. Your body is something you should be grateful for because it does SO much for you.

And what if you were told you had one week to live? How would you spend that week? I bet, you would spend every minute doing things you love to do. Things you have always wanted to do. Tell that someone that you love them. Embrace every drop of rain, enjoy the feel of the wind, look at trees in a way you never had before.

When people are faced with death it is all about what they didn’t get to do. Never about what they had done. Death brings a forgiveness that wouldn’t otherwise be seen. Death brings an appreciation for things we take for granted. Things that stress you out now wouldn’t mean a thing if you knew you only had a week to live. You would make the most of every minute of every day. Wouldn’t you?

And you know, most people aren’t given any notice. Some people die crossing a street. It is most likely you won’t be told you have a week or a month or even a year.

Live your life the way you want to now! Tell people you love them now. Do the things you have always wanted to do now. Write that book. Climb that mountain. Propose to the one you love. Leave the bad relationship you are in. Move to Nepal. Learn to play an instrument. And if you can’t do what you want to right now, then plan how to get there.

You don’t want to have any regrets over things you could have done.

If you need help with reaching your goals or breaking through fears, I can help you.
