You know that spirals are everywhere in nature, right? From galaxies to shells to the hair on our head growing around the crown. I hadn’t put much more thought into it than that until I learned Spiragenics. Spiragenics is the body movement technique that teaches us to complete our unconscious movements such as sitting, standing and stretching in spiral flow with nature.
As we age we tend to shrink and bend into a stoop. Our bodies get stiffer and we endure pain. What if that could all be avoided? What if I told you that you could not only improve your agility when you are older but you could make a massive change right now! That is what Spiragenics is all about. Lessening the stress and strain we put on our bodies every day. Moving in a way that is so free-flowing that you can do much more in your day because you feel like you haven’t done much at all.
In my one hour intro classes, we are getting up and down off the floor repeatedly, rolling around like little kids and working our whole bodies. Yet at the end most could go another round.
You see, when you move with nature it is easy. Not only is it easy it is pleasant. Even fun. With Spiragenics you feel the joy of play again. And this feeling of freedom uplifts you and connects you to your inner child.
After my training I felt more connected with my body than I had ever felt before yet still strongly connected to my soul. I felt whole. And as with everything else I learn, I want to share it with you.
